Personal Collection
My personal collection of traditional dresses, embroideries, textiles and jewels come from all over the world.
In Tonga, I purchased the straw skirt of the Pacific.
In Afghanistan, I purchased dresses, hats, jewels, chapans, embroideries.
In Uzbekistan, I purchased chapans, silk ikats, suzanis and many embroidery pieces.
From Syria, I have these beautiful traditional dresses and cloaks.
Yemen, gave me beautiful traditional dresses from different parts of the country, showing different traditions.
All these were purchased at different periods of time, when I was working in these countries.
One of the most important selection criteria was that I would be able to wear them once back home.
My personal collection has also 3 Korean cloaks from silk with beautiful colours, purchased in the Asian quarter in Paris.
